Earlier today a brand new Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Scan from Shonen Jump was released. We didn’t get a chance to explain it, but if you look back at it, you’ll see it features art of Nine Tails Chakra Mode Naruto on the left side. On the right you’ll notice a thumbnail of Nine Tails Chakra Mode Naruto fighting Sasuke. This is an online fight, as indicated by the connection strength meter by Sasuke’s health bar.
On the right there is also a thumbnail with an items block that points to a thumbnail with Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke taking on Neji, Tenten, and Lee. In tandem, those screenshots are showing off EX rank battle, an online versus mode where you can customize/select items and supports. Directly to the left of that is a green circle nearly encapsulating the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact logo and a thumbnail from the opening sequence of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Both games will be playable at Jump Festa as part of a tournament next week with the shown Mangekyo Sharingan strap as a prize.
Going back to the thumbnail of the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations opening sequence – the actual opening will be on display, playing at Jump Festa. It’s said there will be many surprised associated with the opening and the game itself. One obvious reveal seems to be that of characters. You’ll note Danzo is standing next to Killer Bee and Sakura in that thumbnail along with what look to be Akastuki members at the opposite side.
