Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact Release Date?

Posted on June 26, 2011

The last two days have been exciting when it comes to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact! Yesterday, Kisame’s fused Samehada form and Killer Bee’s demon cloak form were confirmed as playable. Earlier today, Danzo and his fight with Sasuke were confirmed to be playable.

We wonder though, when can fans pick up and experience the fun for themselves? Namco Bandai, CyberConnect2, and even Shonen Jump have not yet given any word on the official release date. Well, they have said 2011, but they haven’t said what month the game will come out.

There may be a lead, though, as to when the game will come out in North America. Popular online retailer Amazon.com has listed the release date for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact as Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in North America. Of course, this is not confirmed, but Naruto games are generally released on Tuesdays and often times around the September-October-November time frame, so it does make some sense. Amazon is a pretty reliable source, but this date is not set in stone and can change, especially because Amazon has not yet even started taking pre-orders.

We also tried to find the release dates for other regions, and what we found was the rumored release date for Japan is September 9, 2011 and Europe is September 30,2011. These are however, what we found in the Wikipedia listing for Ultimate Ninja and as we all know, anybody can edit Wikipedia. We love Wikipedia, but again, we were unable to find an authoritative source to confirm the Japanese or European release dates, so don’t mark the those dates as confirmed.

When we do learn of the official Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact release dates for all three regions, we’ll make sure to update you right here on Anime Games Online!
