Bleach: Soul Resurreccion Site Open, Famitsu Review Scores

The official website for Bleach: Soul Resurreccion is now open! You can visit it at This is, of course, NIS America’s Bleach: Soul Resurreccion website. The website by Sony for the Japanese version of the game has been open for a few months.

Much of the information posted on NIS America’s website has already been revealed, but there is one thing that is new – a distinction between story mode and mission mode!

NIS America writes “the story mode of will follow the characters’ story progression as seen in the anime series. Play as any number of characters you had only dreamed of using. In mission mode, you must complete the mission objectives while operating under certain restrictions in order to pass each stage. Acquire valuable points in this mode that can be used to customize all your characters.”

It sounds like in mission mode players can freely select characters, but we wonder if the scenario is the same for story mode or if characters are automatically selected based on where in the story the player is.

In addition, Famitsu (a popular Japanese video game magazine) has given their review of Bleach: Soul Resurreccion (well technically, Bleach: Soul Ignition). Four reviewers played the game and each of their verdicts was that the game deserved a 7 out of 10. In other words, the final score was a 28/40. That’s a pretty average score, especially when comparing to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 which received a 39/40.
