King Kai Playable in Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden

Posted on February 2, 2011

Namco Bandai Games Japan has revealed King Kai, one of Goku’s trusted teachers and mentors, will be playable in a Dragon Ball game for the first time ever! That’s right, the goofy, but wise blue master will be in Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden for the Nintendo DS! He’s appeared as part of the story or as a boss in Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu (SNES), Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku (GBA), Dragon Ball Z: Buu’s Fury (GBA), but has never been playable until now!

As you can see below, he throws wood, drives you over with a car, and blasts you with magic telephone voodoo! Seems like a blue Hercule, don’t you think?
