Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout for the PlayStation 1 was one of the most beautiful looking fighters in it’s time. Three dimensional characters models and environments with a vast array of colors was something unheard of in the world of anime video games! Heck, it was rare in the world of video games! Of course, that was 13 years ago in 1997. Two video game generations and several dozen Dragon Ball games later, every game we see pretty much looks better than Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout.
That doesn’t stop one eBay merchant from selling the PlayStation 1 game for $2000! Of course this is only a holiday special. The price after December 25th will be a whopping $7000! If you have $2000 laying around and nothing better to spend it on, don’t delay and buy the original 1997 edition of Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout sealed by Bandai today!
You can get Atari’s version of the game, which was released in 2004 for much less. It’s exactly the same as Bandai’s, just re-released with a different cover. Or Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 which is for $4.99 (plus 4.98 shipping for a total less than $10).
Otherwise we’d just like to point you to a game from this decade – Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.
