Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Demo Now Available

The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Demo is now available on the PlayStation Network in the USA. The update comes from the official PlayStation Store blog. This demo is the same one that was released in Japan a few weeks ago, the Kakashi Boss Battle. The demo, and 250 MB download, is free to PS3 users. The PlayStation Store’s blog writes this about Storm 2:

A tornado of fierce ninja action hits PlayStation 3 with the release of the free Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 demo! Featuring the first boss battle from the game, the demo focuses on refined fighting mechanics and stunning graphics. The full game places the player inside a living manga world packed with dramatic 3D boss battles, including a rich story mode and the first online play ever in the Naruto franchise.

If you are an Xbox 360 owner, we aren’t sure if the demo is up on Live yet. If you have a 360, please comment below and give us an update.

Secondly, Europe will be getting a Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 demo tomorrow, August 25. The video game trade fair Gamescom, which took place in Europe this past weekend had a demo that featured 18 playable characters. It’s possible Europe may get this demo rather than the Kakashi Boss Battle the USA and Japan have received. If that’s true then American owners can also get the 18-character demo, but they will have to sign up for a European account on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live. We’ll provide an update and instructions on how to get the European demo if they do get a different demo than the USA.
